Founder Dennis Savic unveiled the initial concept for an Australian electric road bike. Built with a custom tubular cradle frame housing an early battery pack and motor layout, this proof of concept validated the mechanical package and secured foundational capital.
Savic Motorcycles officially debuted the first running C-Series prototype at the Melbourne Moto Expo. Featuring the brand’s signature café racer silhouette, custom-fabricated energy storage system (ESS), and initial 100V lithium battery architecture delivering 45 kW peak power.
The second-generation prototype integrated the battery enclosure directly into the chassis as a stressed structural member. In-house engineering commenced for proprietary motors and controllers, elevating system efficiency and boosting power output to 60 kW peak with a 12 kWh battery pack.
